About
I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering Technology from the College of Engineering at The University of Toledo. I have been designing and developing for the web since the summer of 2007 and have not looked back.
Currently I work for a large health care company as a developer, building solutions to complex problems. Before this job I worked extensively within the open-source technology ring (academia love Linux – and so do I), but as I have moved into a enterprise environment I get to play with more proprietary technology which extends my skills within those enterprise solutions.
My skills range from expeditionary Ruby on Rails to full blown CSS wizardry and C# experimentation.
If you have noticed my website uses a bit of CSS 3.0. I wanted to use this new technology (or toy) to see how it looks and also to get more web designers and developers to use CSS 3.0 so it can be cross-browser compatible, which it is except Internet Explorer (I love you Microsoft, but your browser stinks!). My skills range from expeditionary Ruby on Rails to full blown CSS wizardry and C# experimentation. So enjoy seeing some cool transitions throughout the site without JavaScript working in the background. The effect is nothing more than one line of CSS code and it is masterful! I hope you like it, unless you are using Internet Explorer which will only show a simple roll-over.
I am proficient in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, ASP.Net, C#, SQL, JAVA, C++, C, and Perl.
