The State, The Future, The Plan

So as you have found out I have totally redesigned my site. I wanted this site to be a boiler-plate if you will for some new projects that I will be delving into very soon. So with that being said, this site is not totally complete. There are a lot of new features I will be implementing into this site as I progress. What those features are? I do not completely know, but am beginning to slowly flesh them out as I type this. I do know I will be adding some social media buttons by which people can get in touch with me or just share what is on this site with their friends or co-workers. How I am going to implement that is for another topic and post.

One of the new projects I am working on is an online design newspaper. It is basically a blog but it keeps in the same guidelines as a newspaper that gets delivered to your door. The only issue concerning this project is content writers. Once it is up I will be taking submissions for content writers to share their expertise or criticism within the design realm. This design realm as I have graciously call it will comprise of not only web design but also app (Iphone, Ipad, Android, Windows Phone 7…), programming, software, print, products, and anything else that is and has been designed to fit into a certain role or function.

On top of this new project will be the app that will allow those who will someday be fans to gather the information within their mobile device (Tablet and Phone). The app will first be for the Android and then to Windows Phone 7 and then roll out for iOS. Why have a pushed iOS to the back? because of the simple fact that I personally and by study have deduced that Android will take over the market within the next couple years. Now for Windows Phone 7, that is merely me being a snob and a huge Microsoft fan… sorry Cupertino.

So with many other projects piggy-backing off of these two I will be somewhat and moderately busy, but yet very fulfilled and happy. So I hope you all enjoy these new features that will be rolling out to the site and for the new newspaper site to launch!
